Edeka is building a recyclable supermarket

With sustainability becoming more and more important to consumers and society as a whole, Edeka Minden-Hannover is looking beyond just sourcing more sustainable products. In a first in Germany, Edeka is building a new Edeka Markt using the sustainable "Triqbriq-Holzbausystem"

The build of the 1100 sqm store, planned to be opened in Spring 2025 will be using reusable and recyclable materials. This method will allow for a quicker build time whilst having a lower CO2 impact of approximately 50% than conventional methods.
