Brits less worried about ultra-processed foods than Europeans

Ultra Processed Foods are increasingly in the news as consumers are becoming more concerned about their impact on health. European consumer perception on this is already higher than that of British consumers. 65% European (61% UK consumers) belief that UPFs are bad for their health.

Compared to Britain, with 68%, only 56% of EU consumers admitted to having UPF once a week.

Another interesting fact is that in Europe, 56% of shoppers go out of their way to buy foods that are not processed, while only 48% of UK shoppers do.
